How many kilojoules are in that alcoholic drink?

It’s surprising how many kilojoules/calories the alcohol in a drink can add to your energy intake. These kilojoules are often referred to as empty, as they hold no nutritional value. Excess kilojoules/calories are stored in the body as fat. Three alcoholic drinks may be easy to have on a night out.

We compare the energy in three drinks to that in Tim Tams. There are 397k (95 cal) per Original Tim Tam biscuit.
