YOUR END OF YEAR SURVIVAL GUIDE…
5 tips to help you recharge your batteries at the end of the year:
- Get outside as much as you can. Nature heals. If there are deadlines overwhelming you, rather than another coffee or nibble of a Christmas cookie, get some fresh air and sunlight!
- We are social creatures. Face to face connection and eye contact with others is really good for our wellbeing. Try putting your devices aside when you are catching up with others. Be there and be present, it will fill your cup far more than if you are disconnected from the moment, taking photos of what you are doing.
- Get your sleep sorted, more tips on that here…
- Boundaries are essential in all aspects of our lives. Agreeing to everything and saying ‘yes’ when we really want to say ‘no’ is often a sign we are trying to please others or have a fear of missing out. Being a ‘yes’ person is something to dig into… maybe a 2023 goal?!
- Trying new things is good for our mental wellbeing – the time might not be right now, but if you are having a week or so off over the break, think about something new you can try, or reconnect with an old hobby that gave you joy.
Here’s to you having a calm and enjoyable end to your year!
