Water-only a boon for school kids’ teeth

Positive results for kids’ dental health have emerged from a South Auckland school’s water-only policy. Decile 1 Yendarra School adopted a water-only policy in 2007, and a decade of data show the average number of dental cavities dropped, and the number of tooth extractions due to decay nearly halved.
